    There's also a record of him working for the Holt Brewery company and being an occupyer of the Roebuck Inn and Greyhound Pub, Holloway Head in 1912.

    Yes, thats correct, Nathaniel Ash. I have a copy from the Commercial and Professional Directory for 1908 that puts in the Bell Tavern, Dale End and James Watt Street. I'll try to attach you a copy.. John

    I have a bit of a mystery I would like some help with. According to the 1901 census, my grandfather living at281 Heath Street, Rutland Arms. His occupation was publican. I can find no reference to a pub called The Rutland Arms or any old photos of Heath Street. Can anybody help.
