Arthur Thorpe
Attended MSA 1953 to 56 the Birmingham College of Art School of Interior Design 1956 to 1960.
Worked as designer for Birmingham Regional Hospital Board/West Midlands RHA, Trust House Hotels London, taught part time school of interior design 1962 to 1980, full time as principal lecturer, course leader Swire School of Design Hong Kong 1980 to 84. Partner French Thorpe Consultancy, architects and design consultants. Retired 2005. Awarded MBE 1979/80.
Now living Worcestershire.
interest include, painting, jazz guitar, motors, travel.
