Not directly to do with the midlands or birmingham, but does contain a wealth of professional and amateur films , many of which would be of interest to people from birmingham. You have to register, but it doesn't cost anything. Subjects include a two (1900) on boys sliding on the snow, and playing leapfrog, which would cause nightmares to health-and-safety-conscious teachers and an amateur film on air raid precautions and arrival of evacuees at Malton at the beginning of the war. Birmingham auoght to have its own equivalent .
