  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Lucas Parties & Pantomimes

My dad & mom both worked at Lucas’s shaft moor lane - me and my brother and 2 sisters all went to the Christmas parties - they were great - remember at the end when you had your present they would shout out your name and your parents would be there to collect you - great times - my sister also worked there when she left school until it closed - great times and lovely to read people’s memories- glad I came across this site - I love Bham

Back when big companies looked after their employees and families and Christmas was a special time . Great post.
