WWII Welsh Ambulanceman

Hello All,

I have a feeling this can go nowhere, but need to ask.

Is there any way I can trace a WWII Volunteer Ambulanceman from South Wales who was stationed in Brum during the war?

I have a rough DOB and two possible surnames - one definite forename.

Nothing else :( Oh, I know where he was stationed & which bus he caught home each night, if that helps!

Is it possible?

Thank you for reading.

Welcome, Tess - I hope you get some responses.

Might be a good idea to post the other details you have.

Thanks Chris.

Here are the few details I know.
He was Welsh. Haydn (wait for it!) Thomas or Jones lol
Born around 1900.
Volunteer ambulanceman in B'ham during WWII, esp 1941/2.
He then returned to S.Wales.
Caught the no.11 bus to and from home/work - the no.11 bus ran in a circle around Perry Barr, Witton & Aston area.

I'm afraid that's it :(
