WW1 Bus

This isn't Birmingham, but I thought it might interest some, especially bussy people. On Sunday there was a mini bus rally in Reading to celebrate 100 years of Thames Valley buses. One item I did find especially interesting. A (London) bus that was sent out to France in WW1 to carry troops, returned and was used as a normal bus after the war and a few years ago was restored to full London GBC colours. For the anniversary of WW1 they have repainted it khaki , and tried to reproduce how it was in the war (wooden boards accross the windows). Only had my phone with me, but took a couple of pictures below.
