  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Help please? can anyone give me any information regarding worlds wear fabric manufactures I believe they were based in Balsall Heath prior and after WW11.

Hi Malta,

The only cloths factory I know of in Balsall Heath was the Wearwell Overall Factory in Longbridge Road, it was there all through the war and well after, it ended up moveing on to the Coventry Road when the slum clearance came into force.
