Witton Aston Manor Tram Depot

One of the things that the museum directors rushed to complete was to get the building listed including the floor. We knew the museum was being evicted and had no hope of changing that but getting it listed gave the building some hope of being kept intact. Although I do agree that a Grade 2 listing is not worth the paper it is written on if developers or councils decide they want the land for something else.

i am aware of buses 1107 CVP 107 and 1685 HOV 685, but did not know that 2257 JOJ 257 had been renumbered in the service fleet as 93.

Yes - here it is a few years earlier when still in service parked at Wellhead Lane garage:-

On the same day the Driver Recruitment Bus (245 DOC) you can see in one of the Aston Manor shots was also parked up at Wellhead Lane, together with a couple of old BCT/Midland Red single deckers:-

On another day it was parked in a better place:-
