William Taylor

Meditation,

Welcome to the Forum. TAYLOR being one of the commoner surnames in Birmingham, I think you will have to give a bit more information than that, e.g. employer and what part or street did he live in? I've got TAYLORs on my mother's side, but not a William I'm afraid.

Maurice :)

moved this thread to the correct section of the forum...also changed the title of the thread to william taylor

My grandma Alice Coughlin whose photo I posted in the Tower Road thread was born Alice Frances Taylor

My grandad, William Taylor worked at the Wolsey car factory, not sure of the dates,he lived at 150 Burbury st in Lozells Birmingham.
He was married to my nan Hilda Taylor, she was Thompson before married.
I think he served in India/ Burma during the war, this is the part of his life I want to find out about.
I still love my nan and grandad and I miss them every day.
