Where was Blews St West?

It was a perfectly reasonable suggestion, but I think i remember seeing some of the old signs in pictures above the pub doors, though can't place one at the moment.

just got my pub books out again mike and looked at pics of atkinsons houses...you are right it is their logo..

Thank you so much for casting light on the Sir Charles Napier location, Mike. That map is so definitive & far better than the 1903 I was using.

Please does anyone have photographs of Blews Street West in or around 1871. I am interested in the Davis family who lived at number 13. Thank you
