Podcasts : What Are Podcasts ?

A Podcast can be any audio, visual, audio/visual file which has been prepared for download onto a computer, or suitable mobile device such as an MP3 player or Ipod. You can listen at home, or take them out with you on the portable players. You dont need any special hardware if your going to listen at home.
Some radio shows are turned into Podcasts by the BBC and other broadcasters, and cover a whole range of media types and styles. News, Music, History, Stories, Comedy the list goes on and on.
You can download them usng a websites own link, or by using dedicated software like that found in Itunes. Itunes also has a good search engine with visual links to the very many feeds that are available.

I remember this sweet shop well. My friend David and I would walk home from school (Castle Rd primary) and buy some sweets from this shop or we would buy foreign stamps from the Post Office up the road. If I remember correctly Fred's wife used to serve in the shop.

Was his murder ever solved?
