  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

the lovely lady sat on the floor (middle of front) in the dress was my nan

Born irene francis butlin, at the time of this photo i think she was already married to robert charles burgess through which she had my mum in 1946. This 1st marriage was short-lived and she remarried in 1951, to james fox.

does anyone remember my nan or the speedwell rd celebrations of 1945,
i hope someone else will see themselves or their relatives in this photo:)
