  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Found identity card belonging to late father dated 1943 with the initials V A C B on its cover.
Does anyone know what these initials stand for? From the photo it looks like he is wearing an army uniform but can only see his shoulders and collar. As far as we know he wasn't in the forces as he was too old.
 
Thankyou so much for that - you are right! Late father worked at Vickers Armstrong Castle Bromwich!
