Oh blessed I am to have such a one as you,
Your love I cherish above all.
I, the man who vowed his love to you,
Will forever honour you above all.
When time wins out as it is destined to do
And as our hair turns grey with old age
I, the man who vowed his love to you,
Will, in lifes book turn to our lives new page.
Our life will continue on in a different time,
And God willing, in a different place.
Where forever I will claim you always as mine
And in the eternities behold your face.
As we walk in eternal peace in each othes love
We will wait for those who are to follow.
And as they whom are ours come to us up above
Leaving behind all sadness and sorrow.
And in joy in a kingdom foreign to earths existence,
We will stand and renew our deep love
For Him though accused by men, required no repentance
He may accept us by the sign of His dove.
If love is true while here on earth
Can it not last forever?
With families ours, who came by birth,
It must, forever and ever.
