I remember it well, John. I did know someone who worked in the R&D there, and worked on the screens for Concord.

They have moved the factory to Redditch my son worked there till 2020 he was made redundant after first lockdown my husband also worked there.think there will be houses built on the land as it was sold of before they moved

I worked there in '68, on the laminated curving furnaces. I remember a fire one night, in the area where the Concorde screens were stored. Word had it that somebody had sneaked in there for a kip and his cig had set light to some packaging.

Memories of Debbie the Cleaner in 1973 = 1976. She was so beautiful; I've never forgotten her.

No, I wish I had at the time. I was the Head Chef in the canteen there and just admired Debbie from afar, as I was only 23 and Debbie was 36. She's not appeared in any obituaries as yet.
