TRIOLETS

I blame Paul and Kate
For these triolets and haikus           (haikus Pronunciation: 'hI-(")küs))
The two of you have us in such a state
I blame Paul and Kate
Were you trying to amuse
Well is this what you do to a mate
I blame Paul and Kate
For these triolets and haikus

I know they’re rubbish these triolets of mine
But it’s so much fun just sitting here
Trying to get these words to rhyme
I know they’re rubbish these triolets of mine
It’s like finally getting my writing to join
I’m really trying to be sincere
I know they’re rubbish these triolets of mine
But it’s so much fun just sitting here

Well done Chris! Aren't they maddening? Only Suebee can produce them with her usual ease of writing :)

Just went back a page and read yours Suebee - you are the master (or is it the mistress!) :)

Mind What You Say After A Drink

What inspired this amorous rhyme?
I was drunk I’d had some beer,
two parts vodka, one part lime
What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Definitely some whisky, also red wine
What I said, was not sincere
What inspired this amorous rhyme?
I was drunk I’d had some beer…
