Thomas Sheridan Marriage 1899

Sheriff

proper brummie kid
Hello again,

I am trying to figure if this is the Thomas Sheridan that married my G-GrandMothers Mother.

The marriage was in the 3rd quarter of 1899

Sheridan Thomas Aston 6d743
Thomas occupation would probably be a light porter, age about 37-38 birthplace Coventry. Father's name John Mother Bridget.

The bride would be Mary.

The may have been some children present.

Thank you

Steve

Thanks :)

Yep that's him Bren.

Kate Sheridan is my G-GrandMother.

I found Thomas in 1871

Name Age John Sheridan 35 Bridget Sheridan 35 Michael Sheridan 11 Thomas Sheridan 10 Mary Sheridan 8 James Sheridan 3 Ann Sheridan 1
And in 1881

Name Age John Sheridan 48 Michael Sheridan 21 Tom Sheridan 20 Mary Sheridan 17 James Sheridan 14 Ann Sheridan 10

He was a watch maker finisher then.

Thomas died in 1904. Sheridan Thomas. 41 Birmingham 6d 139

On the 1911 census Mary had gone back to using the surname Brannon and the children Mary and Thomas are also listed as Brannon. No mention of Emma.

Mary Brennon may be Kate's Mother, I'm not certain because Kate's children are registered as Mothers Maiden name - Parkes.

It's all very interesting.

Thanks

Steve

It looks like he did. Dob 15 Feb 1898, died 1978?

If so he married an Ellen Louisa Hill, 11 Jan 1919, and had at least 3 sons.

In 1921 he is at 1 court 11 Bissell St and in 1939 135 Irving St.
