The Youth Club

Hi Bodge..I remember the 13 club at Yardley Old Church..When I first attended it was held in the Trust School building at the side of the Church..then moved to a new building across the Church yard...I think it was in the early 60s The club leader was a mr Packham.
I Romberg going to those clubs as well around 65-68

The thirteen club was the highlight of my week in the late 50s. I played in the skiffle group and also the rugby team.(we played mainly against the fourth and fifth teams of clubs, which consisted mainly of old -to us- codgers, who cheated dreadfully!) I would love to hear from anyone from that time... I'm sure that 'Bodger' must be David Bodger, ex GD Grammar? I remember you well. Tony Moore.
