Must come up and pay a visit, it's been a long time since i was in there, i remember the preraphaelites very well and maybe The Brughels who are one of my favourites.

Birmingham Art Gallery has the largest collection in the world of works by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Not to everyone's taste (mine included) but worth a visit once in a while.

My favourite painting at Brum is the huge depiction of Corporation Street in the very early 20th century, displayed at the top of the stairs near the main entrance. Don't know who the artist is, but it's impressive.

I was always affected by this painting - so bright, so vivid and yet so very sad!
A well put together video featuring "The Last Of England"..

Nice to see Pink Flloyd @ Mothers made it into the collection. We had one of those cow horns at home. Think it was from Austria. Blimey, what was that all about? Don't think any of the family planned roaming the countryside blowing on one of those. Maybe it was intended to team up with the genuine Dutch clogs which eventually found their way into the garden, painted yellow and stuffed with summer bedding plants! Nice link, thanks. Viv..
