DENTAL CHECK

He looked and smiled into my mouth
Then stretched it from both north and south
Like Captain blood he took his hook
And in my mouth he took a look

Do not worry it will not hurt
Those four words made me alert
For i myself felt very small
He was large and very tall

Around my mouth he went with ease
Turned on his drill just to tease
My heart at that point fled away
Does she pay i heard him say

Not much for me to do today
A spit and polish shall we say
Just to keep the plaque at bay
Not to worry there's no decay

My legs like jelly tried to stand
The nurse gave me a gentle hand
Then to my senses i was found
This check had cost me sixty pound.

The place where we hate going.

 Mine is to the vets. My vet is lovely and so was the one who retired two years ago. I took Gizi my cat to see the latter and she had a heart attack on the table while being examined. We took her home where she died the next day. Looking back I am glad it was like that as her blood tests showed she had many horrible things wrong with her. Mind you she was 18. :crying: TTFN. Jean.
