THE BIRDMAN OF THORNESIDE

THERE WAS A BABY POSSUM THAT STRAYED FROM DAD AND MOM,
AND IT SHIVERED AND IT WIMPERED BEFORE THE RIZING OF THE SUN.
IT WAS FOUND BY A NEIGHBOR PETER, OUR “BIRDMAN OF THORNSIDE”
WHO FED IT AND LOVED IT WITH A LOVE THAT COULD NOT BE DENIED.

FOR PETER LOVED HIS BIRDS LIKE ANY PARENT WOULD THEIR CHILD,
CREATURES WERE BROUGHT TO THIS MAN WHO WAS SO MEEK AND MILD.
SO IT WAS, WHEN FINDING THIS LOST POSSUM IT STOLE HIS HEART AWAY,
WITH HIS LOVING CARE THE CREATURE THRIVED, AND LIVED TO SEE THE DAY

WHEN ITS PARENTS CAME TO SEEK THEIR CHILD AND SPIED IT IN PETERS HAND.
WITH BOLDNESS DID THAT VENTURE TO COME CLOSER WHERE PETER DID STAND.
AND NO FEAR DID THEY SHOW AS THEIR CHILD WAS PLACED NEAR THEIR SIDE
BY THE MAN SO MEEK AND MILD, OUR FRIEND, THE “BIRDMAN OF THORNESIDE”.

THIS IS A SIMPLE POEM BUT I COULD NOT TRANFER THE LOVELY PICTURE THAT WAS WITH IT FROM WORD.
CAN SOME KIND SOUL ADVISE ME HOW TO TRANSFER PICTURES?

First read the size allowance by the browse button at the bottom of the message box Robert. Then if you need to resze you can do it in your scanner programme, best save it to a picture file, make sure its the right file type, remember where it is on your computer, press the browse button and hey presto..........
