  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

hi folks...many thanks to viv for arranging a lovely meet up..smashing to see you all there...josie you won 3 books which i will pass onto you asap...i won an old midland bank 1930s savings box and an old rocker wooden blotter which will go with my other old nick nacks and a special thanks to phil who won erics st georges church paining and very kindly gave it to me:) chuffed to bits as this church has family connections....will put a few photos on in a little while...

Thanks to everyone for coming today, nice to see you all again and to meet sone new faces too. Have to say I don't know how Lyn has done it all these years. Now I'm home I'm feeling pretty exhausted (in part attributable to sharing a train carriage with a team of very excitable young cheerleaders who'd won a competition in Birmingham!) So Lyn I think I've earned my deputy's badge today.

Thanks too to contributors to the raffle, and as always thank you Eric for your very generous contributions. Hope to see you all again later in the year.

Well you all seem to have enjoyed yourselves and what a great looking venue. With regard to the graffiti I don't always think they are in the best of taste but some show a great deal of talent.
