My thoughts are with you and yours on this sad day.

The Parting is sadness, try to think the good tiimes and celebrate the life of a good man and loved partner. Steve may no longer be there to hug but remember he is only a thought away.

God Bless

May I add my thoughts and prayers for you all today. I have faith that we will all be reunited in the near future. Love and best wishes.
Lynda

I have not long got back from the funeral. It was great to see so many of Lyn's friends from the forum there supporting her.

Although extremely sad, the service was wonderful - light hearted and humourous in parts (just as Steve wanted). Steve's only statement was aimed at the pallbearers in 'Hoping that they didn't F*****g drop him'...... :D

You will all be pleased to know that Lyn although heartbroken was magnificent throughout - her true Brummie strength was evident today.

My thoughts will be with you now and the days to come Lyn. The service sounds exactly as Steve would want - especially Steve's quote!!

lyn.. you done steve proud today,... it was all very fitting, the bikers escort was what he would have loved......... r.i.p steve xx

I can only agree with all that has been said already. Lyn and the family did Steve proud, the service was 1st class and a really geat turn out to send him off.
Keep your motor running, Brother.
R.I.P.

Have not seen so many motor bikes at a funeral before, Steve must have been well thought of. Hope you are soon able to come back to us Lyn. We all hold you in our thoughts.

lyn.
I hope the Day goes as well as Expected.
I was given this poem at my mothers funeral I hope It brings you comfort as it Did me.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,I am not there, I do not sleep.I am in a thousand winds that blow,I am the softly falling snow.I am the gentle showers of rain,I am the fields of ripening grain.I am in the morning hush,I am in the graceful rushOf beautiful birds in circling flight,I am the starshine of the night.I am in the flowers that bloom,I am in a quiet room.I am in the birds that sing,I am in each lovely thing.Do not stand at my grave and cry,I am not there. I do not die.Regards John

You did Steve proud Lyn, what a wonderfull send off you and your family gave him.
I'm sure he would have loved the service, and the bikes.
Thinking of you all.
