Spring Hill Hockley 1960's A Painting

Spring Hill paintingNot happy with the quality of uploaded painting using my camera, have now tried scanning the painting with a much better result, will keep to this method or purchase a better quality camera. Eric

That's a great picture Eric. I think it is always a better method of copying of a picture toscan it, rather than photograph it, possibly because there is better control of the light in the sealed environment

Mike, trouble is I only have the normal A4 printer/scanner and my paintings are approx. 1 inch larger all round, so will lose a bit in scanning round the edge, in this case it did not matter but some it may. Not worth the expense of an A3 scanner for the odd painting though. will think about it. Years ago when I exhibited I painted about twice my present size. Eric

Thanks Mike, I'm not very PC wise but will 'have a go'. In my post #7 I meant I have an A4 printer, now corrected error. Eric
