I don't know if this has been on before, but I was browsing the interesting 'British Pathe' site and came across 'Witton Isolation Hospital' which I thought was in Kingstanding/Perry Common near the Mayfair Cinema. Anyway the council decided it had to be burnt down in 1967 to eradicate any chance of smallpox as shown here - https://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=44375
