Shops Still there !!

I was just on the bonfire night thread so for fun I googled the post office where we stood with our guy, so not only is the post office still there so is the shop next door and the chemist not only that the chip shop across the street is still there and its still a chipy, and now I must confess we use to climb over the fence at the back of chip shop and help our selves to empty pop bottles that were kept outside then walk round the corner and return them for the deposit money.

2 things are not there the vending machine for milk in the carton and a free standing square vending machine painted red that had a dozen or so shelves with sweets, that we spent many hours trying to get the sweets for nought

bob we did the same with the pub over the road from our house...bunk up over the back yard where the empties were kept..pass them over and nip round to the outdoor of the pub to collect our pennies...happy days
