Selly Oak Bristol Road

It crosses my mind that the lady in the photo could be the one who found the £1000 detailed on one of the posters.

The Oak Cinema, date unknown (could someone 'clean' it up?)

Being a keen fan of Sherlock Holmes, the far superior Jeremy Brett version on ITV not the BBC one with Bimblebert Crimpysnitch, I enlarged the right hand side of the photograph which shows 'Night Molly'. Did a further search of films and discovered the name of the film is actually 'Midnight Molly' (the newspaper kiosk partially obscures the full title) which dates the year the photograph was taken as being around 1925.
