School Memorial - Handsworth?

This postcard is for sale on eBay. It's possibly a memorial from a Handsworth school. I've fiddled with the shading to try and bring out the names and split the memorial into two sections.

What a wonderful but poignant memorial. How sad that the soldiers flanking the memorial are looking down on the boys playing (football?). So probably a school for boys only. I've included the sellers comments below too. There are 4 men named Bullock. Wonder if they were the same family. Viv.

Thanks Janice. He's listed on Lives of WW1 as a Private serving in the Royal Fusiliers (and the Infantry Base Depot) but little else is on there. Viv.
