Hello folks

I'm looking for anything on the Rose and Crown Trent street or any photos of the street itself. Targeting around 1900 but would grateful for anything.

thanks

Landlords around 1900 for the Rose & Crown, Trent St. Between 1888 and 1890. The landlord changed from Mrs Louisa Hickman to Thomas Badger. He stayed till some time between 1900 and 1904 , the new landlord being Harry spindler. if you want any details outside that range then let me know

Thanks Mikejee.

On the 1901 Census I have a relative managing the Rose and Crown Inn on Trent Street.

(Frederick Sheldon 40 Public House Manager , Annie Sheldon 39, Ellen Sheldon 19)

The names you have supplied give me some idea of who they may have been working for.

Don't suppose you know anything of the history of the Pub? I have looked on Kierons site and there is a listing but no details at all.

Thanks again for the information.

(Nothing to do with this post, but I think 1568 Pershore Road (now a tool hire shop)
was previously 349 Stirchley Street which places it close to the location you suggested)
