  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Hi, I'm new to this site, and live at Aberystwyth. My connection with Birmingham is that I have an aunt that used to work at the QE Hospital. She retired in the mid 1970s having made the grade of Matron. Her name is Margaret Ann Jones. Does anyone remember her? She is now 93 years of age and is still as sharp as a razor!

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital during Margarets service there, 70,s retired
Was the era this wonderful hospital gained its World Class reputation,
The Doctors, Nurses & all concerned were among the best in the country,
Margaret,,still as sharp as a razor,, Come back gal ,

Hi Alf, tywysog du is the name of a stallion I have. (You're quite right it does stand for black prince)
He won the first prize at the Royal Wesh show at Builth Wells in 2003.
He is a Welsh Cob and you are welcome to use him!
