I can remember three pubs our parents used to take us, the Bull's Head, the Endwood and the Uplands. Dad would pack us three kids into the sidecar, mum would sit on the back of the bike and off we'd go. I used to have Vimto and Smiths crisps at the Bull's Head, and some other kind of pop and Brazil nuts at the Endwood. The grounds were much better at the Endwood and the Uplands, plenty of room for us to play. Happy days indeed. Wonder if they're still there, does anybody know?
