  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Preedys in Harborne

Hi, i remeber the Preedys in Harborne High Street, it was in the what is now the W.H Smiths building, Boots the chemist was next door and a few doors away was Halfords, before that the orignal Preedys was over the road for a number of years the shop was very small , does anyone else remeber this??

I was Manager at old shop,happy days !!
 
Not the Harborne one,but my mum worked at the one in Station St for a while,in the lat 60's/early 70's.
 
does anyone remember Preedys head office in High st Dudley opposite the "Three Crowns", or how abour anyone that worked there, I remember a few , Ray Smith , Fred Rollason, Stan Hughes, terry Knott, Stan ? ( Ben) in dispatch , Alf Weekes Big beryl in the fancy goods dept.

Anybody out there?????
