  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I am currently working on the roll of honour for police officers that have died on duty over the years. There are still 42 photographs/picture of officers that the Police museum doesn't have. If there are any members that can assist please PM me. Some date back to the late 1800's through to the 1970's but hopefully there may be some good researches out there or others working on their family tree's that have come across the officer. I won't list them all in one go.

P.C.Terry Hall 'D' Division Canterbury Road died in his panda car coming back from Steelhouse Lane when he collided with a fish lorry in Lichfield Road about 0500 hrs.We were on night duty he died at the scene we were on 'C' Unit

We have this chap on the roll.
Terrence Hall died 28th February 1973. You have added some interesting information though. Just 21 years of age, tragic. I remember well doing the front office duties at Canterbury Road in the early 90's. Although I was based at Queens Road myself. There is an open day at the Lock Up Steelhouse lane on the 13th September with tickets still available.

He collided head on with a 9 ton fish lorry he was driving one of the new Austin Marina coupe, Canterbury Rd were the only station with them they were very unstable on the rear end.
