proper brummie kid
good morning, can anybody help me,I have been asked not one but two questions, which I have no idea of the answers, question one,was there a pie shop in new st.? question two,can anyone remember a bottling plant in James watt st.? thankyou ,

Yes, there was. I think it was called the Fleur De Lys, the same name of the brand of pies that they served. It was very popular as the chicken and mushroom pies were excellent, never found better since. It was in the first trenche of shops on the left hand side walking away from Victoria Square. Don't know anything about the bottling plant, I'm afraid.
