Pershore Road

Looking at the 1950 map there doesn't appear to be a number 35. They end at 29 on one side of Belgrave Road and start again at 37 on the other side. Looking back at older maps there are no numbers but the houses are the same.

There is a 35 Pershore Road South though.

I did not realise there were two roads, sorry. We got the address from the 1935 Electoral roll . We think it was our Grandparents home.

Not sure where on the electoral roll you got your information. Was it via someone else's transcription?
From the online electoral roll, which shows actual page:
In 1935 John McLoughlin was on the electoral roll at 310 Pershore road
But John Augustine McLoughlin, Louisa Emily McCloughlan, John Morris McLoughlin, & Joan Emma McLoughlin were at 30 high St Kings Heath. this was not far from the Cross guns

Thank you mikejee, our family is the one at High Street, must have picked up some duff info somewhere. Does your info relate to 1935 please? What is thr Cross guns ?

That was from the 1935 electoral roll. Sorry. I should have made that clear. The Cross Guns was a pub. Actually it was not that close, but was looking at the electoral roll, which does not include buildings not occupied (ie shops which do not have people living there). The Cross guns was on the corner of Bank St. Incidentally , the 1936 Kellys directories lists Louisa McLoughlin as being there in a "fancy repository" . The c1950 map below shows no 30 in red

1939 register has Louisa listed living at a school house in Beoley with a daughter and son in law, who was a school master.
