In the days when people had front gardens which weren't given over to car parking ! Mostly Estates Committee people in the photo but perhaps some were neighbours. Maybe someone will recognise faces. Viv.

Treacherous trying to walk down it in winter too Eric. Lots of coal ash needed to sprinkle down the slope.
