  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

some years ago my brother came accross a couple of the fronts off the old street lamps and ive managed to scrounge one off him...its cast iron very heavy and i am not quite sure yet where to put it...maybe pride of place in the back garden....

Fit it to the front of a high round container. It would make a good umbrella stand.

excellent idea phil....i shall consider that.. it would look great at the bottom of the stairs...just behind the front door...

It would look lovely at the bottom of my Gas Lantern ex Brum council. Mind I would need the column to fit between them. Shame FiL could not get it on the bus as well.
