Old Contemptibles pub

Peter Walker

gone but not forgotten
Going back to the pub of that name at thye corner of Edmund St and livery St, the Birmingham Uk site has a superb pic of the outside - no wonder it's listed Grade 2. But the inside has seen better days, and the big corner bar never seems to be open when I'm there. But until very recently they were selling good Banks's bitter at £1.25 a pint. Handy for Snow Hill Station, too.
