I am beginning to feel that anything that has 'orton' as part of the name is related to me!!

Hannah Norton, born 1846, marries to Samuel Spears in 1866
Looking for parents and family info please!
Ta!!

Hi Donna
I see you are researching the Howell family. My name is John Howell born 1939 in Handsworth Birmingham my father was Charles Frederick Howell born 1908 in Perry Barr Birmingham.
Welcome to the Forum John from another Handsworth person...........you are in a really great place!

My family!!!!
Ok, well she's part of my Lorton heritage so you and I are "family" - and the Hortons link to the Howells...so we could be family there as well!!!! Well, with all the back to backs that were in Brum, I'm assuming that everyone with a Brum background is related one way or another :rolleyes:o_O:grinning::joy:
I've got this pic from my dead aunts wedding back in the '50s, maybe someone will recognise someone? Howells/Hortons/Lortons
