Northfield Baptist Church

Would anyone have any idea what occupied the site of the Northfield Baptist Church prior to its construction. The site is on the Bristol road In Northfield. Not far from Lockwood road .

The church is first listed in Kellys in 1938. Before that nothing is listed there. The c1938 OS map marks the building. The OS map od c1916 shows the site (marked with red marker) as fields.

Thank you Mike, we were sure there were building on the frontage in the 60s but we were probably wrong.
