  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

Could someone please do a look up for the baptism of Henry Nicholls, DOB about 1827ish ?
Father Henry or Harry, mother probably Maria.

Henry Nicholls baptised 15th Jan 1827, parents Henry & Maria Nicholls, Mount Street. Father's occupation is a Brass Founder

Hi Suzanne, thanks for the prompt reply, I was expecting the Fathers occupation to be 'Publican; but I suppose he could have changed jobs,
I'll have to find out where Mount Street was in the 1820's now'

In 1841 there was a Mount Street in the parish of St Pauls, it was a continuation of Newhall Street (it is now Newhall Street) starting at Lionel Street, crossing over Charlotte Street and ending at George Street.
