New forum version is now active, please post any bugs you find in this thread so I can work on them

Hi Warren
I often use links to other members pics in posts to save uploading another copy but the links are now not working so a large number of pics have disappeared. An example here ... the post is now pictureless !
https://birminghamhistory.co.uk/for...ught-in-our-old-street-pics.41947/post-489854
I had a look in edit for that post put now can only see rich text ... in the previous version I could see plain text and check edit the pic link etc.

seems to be working for me?
Perhaps it's your admin permissions that do it for you ...:D
Perhaps an ordinary member can have a look.
I just tried obtaining a link from a pic in someone elses post and it works (see below) but I could not get the link from the pic as inserted in the post (as it did with the previous version) I had to display the pic to be able to see it's address.
index.php

There should be a pic in post #1 of the thread and it's not showing in your screenshot. The second pic is a coppermine pic.
I'll check with another computer ..

works with my test one as well? this user only has registered status

i see no link or attached picture on the first one though even at page source there is nothing referenced there?

try logging out clear your cookies and log back in? failing that I can login as you and see if im still having the same issue?
I will need to reset your password though.

I've found the ordinary text in the edit ... clicked on the little cog wheel.
This is what I see and the text for the pic link is there but no pic.

I had to Log In, using an unfamiliar page, however, all photos in the current new posts show.
It is rather different: rather like the newer £5 and £10 motes, it takes some getting used to!

Phil (OM) - I’m on iPad and can see everything. Not sure how that helps you but hopefully it eliminates a possible problem from your list.

I like this new format. Viv.

Hi Warren,
I'm back in apparently .... the password you had sent me had $ instead of s and did not work

i reset it again, i did work but then i sent a password reset email (which in turn reset the pass)

We are also back on HTTPS now and I have edited all the posts with some SQL to make http links say https hopefully this has worked

Lyn - I think on this new version "leave" deletes a conversation. So open a conversation and you will see some buttons the right hand one is leave.

Like the new version of our website. When I first logged in today it came up with my old fsnet.co.uk e-mail address but, when I used my password instead it logged me on without any problem. I've checked my account and my new e-mail address is in there. The website used to log me off automatically when I switched websites but now I have to actually log off.

might be a bit up and down over the next 24 hours I have signed us up to cloudflare which secures the traffic through the site but it takes a little while to filter through the net
