Mystery trips

Robert Ensor (bob)

How about those mystery trips on a Saturday night
Pay 5 bob a coach would pick you up in front of the news agents and off you would go
I think the coach co was Andy's, you had no clue as to the destination untill you had been on a couple of trips.
The trip always ended at a pub out in the country somewhere.
A friend had a cousin visiting one time and we went on the mystery coach, took him as us right to his local Ha Ha.
Thinking about it now I wonder if the coach co got a bone from the landlord for bringing a bunch of customer in.

Good thread on Andy's:
The company may have been smiths, I am fairly certain most bus and coach company's had a similar situation where they would run these evening runs.
Our deal was going on these tours we would get served as we were undeage.
