My wonderful bedroom

I always had to share a bedroom with an irritating little b****r known as my younger brother. None were a place I spent a great deal of time. I do remember the first night in our bedroom on our move to Clun , Shropshire.
It was a hot summer and our shop faced the Town Hall on the the roof of which was a siren used to alert the Volunteer Fire Crew. It went of a lot that night or so it seemed.
The floor in this bedroom sloped so much that my Hornby trainset was unusable on the floor. If you put the bed in the top corner of the room then during the night gravity would move it to the opposite corner. No ghosts ,just Isaac Newton at work.
