  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I came across this name in the 1911 census and would like to know if anyone has info about car manufacturing in Birmingham at that time. There is also a story an ancestor of mine owned a car made of some kind of reed material. Any info please...

In the 1917 directory thee is only one Murdock and he is a gas fitting manufacture there are many carriage & motor car body builders and there were motor car accessories manufactures, and motors car agents, and motor car body builders, and motor car builders,
