Moseley {Hospital} {Old peoples Home)

down-under

Brummie from Down-Under
Can anyone help me please.

I believe my grandmother Rose Jones was in a type of old peoples home or hospital in the 60s maybe early 70s, in the Moseley area.

Would anyone remember such a place?

Regards Pam

Re: Moseley {Hospital} {Old peoples Home)

Moseley Hall Hospital still stands, and now offers care and rehabitiltation for elderly peple.

Not sure about the 60-70's though

Re: Moseley {Hospital} {Old peoples Home)

I spent six months there in 2000 and I'm not old... yet. I was in a rehabilitation unit, Hillcrest/Ward 3, leased from the main hospital and specialising in the care of younger ^-^ people.

Re: Moseley {Hospital} {Old peoples Home)

Thank you all for your replies

I am trying to find my grandmothers death date. My cousin remembers Grandma Rose in a place on Moseley Road. I rmember seeing her the once at a home or hospital type place but she was not a patient. My sister also remembers going to see her with my mother but not the address or area. Apparently Mom used to say do not tell Dad, there was some sort of disagreement, Dad did not want contact with Rose. Why? no ones knows.
