Middlesex Regiment: Central Mediterranean Force

JohnT

Warstock Boy
Did anyone on here serve in the Middlesex Regiment: Central Mediterranean Force during WW2, or does anyone know where I can read an account of its involvement?

I've only just discovered my dad's army number and that he served as a Corporal cook with the 2nd Battalion / 7th Middlesex Regiment: C.M.F., and I'd love to learn more.

My dad was Harry Taylor, who lived in Arlington Road, Warstock when war broke out. I've sent his number and details to the Army records people but they've advised me it'll be a few weeks before they can complete the records search and send anything back to me.

Thanks team
:)
