  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

It has been announced that the records held at Birmingham City Archives are now subject to a 75 year closure period rather than the former 100 years , meaning child migrants and their families can obtain new information about migration to Canada.

SUMMERHILL-HOUSE hi folk,s ,,i was lead to beleave my grandfather was in shenley-field,s home,s from [1915-1028], know wonder i could not find any record,s down at KEW,ARCHIVE,S, & THIS WEEK IN JUNE,2008 HE SPEND THE FIRST 3years at summerhill-hse somewhere by dudley rd hospital, can any one help with info please,cheero,,christy

My Father and two uncles were shipped out to Australia in 1923
