  • HI folks the server that hosts the site completely died including the Hdd's and backups.
    Luckily i create an offsite backup once a week! this has now been restored so we have lost a few days posts.
    im still fixing things at the moment so bear with me and im still working on all images 90% are fine the others im working on now
    we are now using a backup solution

I bought a postcard of a young girl taken in a Birmingham photographer's studio on October 1914. Her name is Elsie Merrick and she was 14 years old.
Checking the 1911 Census she has two older Brothers. Sidney Bruce Merrick and Hubert Howard Merrick.
The Absent Voters List of 1918 shows Sidney Hubert as serving as a Pte in the RAF.

However I cannot find any info regarding Hubert Howard Merrick.

Can anyone help please

In familysearch and findmypast he seems to be listed as Herbert Howard Merrick and if so there's a possible death listed for him in the Mar qtr of 1918, Birmingham.
