Masons pop factory

Evening all, my family were the founders. My great, great, great grandad Titus Mason!
Alex,
my Father used to sell Masons pop in his shop (which is why I still have the bottle opener above) but he also sold 'Sno Sam' bleach (it had a logo of a snowman with a red hat on the bottle). He told me that the bleach was also made by Masons but in order to avoid the risk of someone quaffing a glass of bleach from a bottle labelled 'Masons', the name was changed to Sno Sam, being Masons backwards.

I often wonder if he was 'spinning a yarn', perhaps you could shed some light!
